Albert Yoo Dds

Dr. Albert Yoo is a certified Periodontist, specializing in treatment of gum disease and dental implant surgery, with special interest in perio-prosthetics, advanced bone grafting, sinus lift procedures, and immediate implant placement.

A native New Yorker, he concluded his undergraduate studies at New York University with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. He was then accepted to the prestigious and highly selective Stony Brook University’s School of Dental Medicine, where he completed his Doctorate alongside a class comprised of only 40 students. Dr Yoo continued his postdoctoral training in Stony Brook where he obtained his specialty certificate in periodontology. He has been in private practice, specializing in periodontics and implant surgery since 2008. He has held teaching positions in Newark Beth Israel Hospital, New York Hospital of Queens and in Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Yoo is passionate about community outreach, and has founded and leads a yearly international dental mission trip to the island of Jamaica.

Currently residing in Long Island City, Dr. Yoo enjoys spending time with his family, fitness, reading and skateboarding.
